Welcome to the Town Hall Hotel, affectionately known as 'The Townie'. We are located along King Street Newtown in one of Sydney’s most vibrant and progressive precincts, alive and buzzing more than ever.

With recent renovations The Townie has a variety of unique and versatile spaces across three levels. We cater for groups of 20 to 200 guests, with numerous spaces and catering experiences for your special function or event.

    We have a range of suggestions below from mixed platters to BBQ for catering your event. You are welcome to meet with  someone from the Don Rodneys crew and plan your own menu. We can help pick the best options to suit your function and we will do our best to accommodate where we can.

  • Mixed Platters

    Fried Platters $65 choose any 3 Options from below per platter

    Tater Tots VG, Wedges VG, Fries VG, Tomato & Basil Arancini V, Mushroom & Parmesan Arancini V, Samosa V, Spring Rolls V, Curry Puffs V,  Buffalo Chicken Wings, Chicken Nuggets, Mac n Cheese Croquettes or Szechuan Calamari.

    Cheese or Meat Boards $85

    Grazing plate with salami, ham, olives, dried fruit, crackers, schiaciatta bread.

    Cheese plate, quince paste, schiaciatta bread, crackers & dried & fresh fruits.

    If the event is just ‘nibbles’ then we suggest around three to four portions per guest. If the event is more substantial then we suggest between five to six portions per guest.

  • Rooftop BBQ Package

    Have your very own rooftop ‘backyard’ BBQ Experience Event with your own exclusive Chef to do all the work.

    Take in all the sounds and smells of the BBQ as you are enjoying a relaxing beverage outdoor style.

    Minimum of 30 guests at $32 per guest. Choice of any 5 Selections from the options below
